Final conference of the project “Further digitalisation of land registry in the Republic of Croatia”

The final conference of the project "Further digitalisation of land registry in the Republic of Croatia" took place at the Westin Hotel in Zagreb on 4 May 2023.

The Grant Agreement was signed on 13 December 2018, with a implementation period of 53 months. The total value of the project was EUR 5,028,495.58. The project was co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund, under the Operational Programme Efficient Human Resources 2014-2020.

The general objective of the project was to improve the quality of land registry administration by digitalising the manually kept land registers, which has contributed to increasing efficiency and speeding up business processes in land registry departments.  The target group consisted of of the Ministry of Justice and Public Administrationemployees in judicial bodies. The framework agreement on the scanning services between the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration and the Community of Bidders Mikrocop d.o.o. and Verox d.o.o. was signed in January 2020 with an implementation period of 36 months.  The implementation of project activities began in April 2020 and ended in March 2023.

During the implementation of this project, land registries of 70 land registry departments across the Republic of Croatia were scanned and converted into digital form. A total of 29,871,107 pages were digitalised. In addition, a total of 344 users were trained to use the digital archives system. These are civil servants employed in land registry departments and in the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration.
The guests at the ceremony were addressed by Mr Juro Martinović, State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration. Ms Marija Cvjetković from the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy gave a brief overview of the previous project operations financed by European Social Fund grants and highlighted their significance from the perspective of the Managing Authority.

The results of the project were presented by Ms Jasna Vujnović on behalf of the bidding consortium of Mikrocop d.o.o. and Verox d.o.o., and Ms Erika Kaloćira Reljić on behalf of the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration.
