Trainings for probation officers “Communication strategies for unwilling clients in the probation system” and “Basics of gambling addiction”

The project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Social FundOn 22-23 September 2021, in Hotel Trakošćan, two of the envisaged six trainings under the ESF project "Improving the quality of the judiciary by strengthening the capacities of prison and probation system and victim and witness support system" were delivered for probation officers by the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences of the University of Zagreb, based on the conducted training needs analysis in the probation system. 
23 probation officers participated in the trainings “Communication strategies for unwilling clients in the probation system” and “Basics of gambling addiction”. The training was delivered by Dr. Neven Ricijaš  from the Behavioural Disorders Department of the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences. 
The trainings will enable probation officers to improve their professional competencies and the quality of work with different offenders under supervision of the probation service.
