Inaugural visit of Ambassador of Slovenia

On Tuesday, 4 October, Minister of Justice and Public Administration Ivan Malenica received the inaugural visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Mr. Gašper Dovžan.

They discussed bilateral issues in the justice area and both sides confirmed their readiness to continue an open dialogue on possible solutions.
 
It was highlighted that the ministries of the two countries have had a good bilateral cooperation in the field of justice and public administration so far as well as a good cooperation at EU level due to the similarities and many shared common interests of the two states.
 
In conclusion, both sides underlined the willingness to deepen and strengthen cooperation and future relations, especially by exchanging experiences and knowledge regarding legislative solutions of mutual interest, modernisation and digitalisation of the justice system, more functional and accessible public administration, the use of EU funds and the possibility of joint participation in and implementation of projects.
