Voting by nationals of other EU Member States in the election of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from Croatia

Voters who are nationals of other Member States of the European Union may apply for entry in the Electoral Register no later than 9 May 2024.

Nationals of other EU Member States who have a registered permanent or temporary residence in Croatia may exercise their right to vote in Croatia in the election of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from the Republic of Croatia, to be held on Sunday 9 June 2024, under the same conditions as Croatian nationals.

We draw attention to nationals of other EU Member States who have already been registered in the Electoral Register of the Republic of Croatia for the purpose of voting in local elections that, in order to exercise the right to vote in the election of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from the Republic of Croatia, they must submit a new application for registration in the Electoral Register of the Republic of Croatia.

The application for entry in the Electoral Register is to be submitted to the competent administrative authority of the county or the City of Zagreb according to the voter's residential address in Croatia by 9 May 2024.
 
LIST OF COMPETENT ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITIES OF COUNTIES AND THE CITY OF ZAGREB

The Application Form for Registration in the Electoral Register of a national of another EU Member State must be accompanied by:

a) a statement indicating: 
  • the voter's nationality; residential address in Croatia; previous residential address abroad;
  • that that the voter will exercise the right to vote only in Croatia;
  • that the voter is not deprived of the right to vote in the EU Member State of which they are a national;

b) a copy of a foreign identity document
