Specialised support services
Apart from the victim and witness support departments and the civil society organisations involved in the Network of Support and Cooperation for Victims and Witnesses of Criminal Offenses, there are many other NGOs and public institutions in Croatia offering emotional, psychological and/or practical assistance, protection, advice and information. They provide additional types of support and specialised support for certain categories of vulnerable victims, such as childen, victims of gender-based violence, victims of sexual violence, persons with disabilities and victims of hate crime.
General support services refer victims and witnesses to specialised services according to their special needs for support.
