Parcels and money

If you wish to transfer money to an inmate, you can do so by postal payment to the address of the Lepoglava Penitentiary, with an indication of the inmate’s name,
or by bank transfer to IBAN HR8323900011300000234, reference number: HR00 – (Inmate ID number).
For international payments, enter BIC: HPBZHR2XXXX. The full name of the inmate must be entered in the payment description field.

Money is not received directly an the Penitentiary.
 

Parcel reception

Items and parcels for inmates can be sent by post to the address of the Lepoglava Penitentiary.
The sender must attach a list of contents of the parcel to the outside of the parcel, which also applies to the shipments which, according to visual and tactile inspection, correspond to a parcel.
The maximum weight limit for parcels is 7 kg.
Parcels must not contain food or tobacco products.
Once a month and for holidays, an inmate is entitled to receive a parcel with permitted items from the House Rules.
Parcels are received by post on workdays, and, upon inspection, are handed over to prisoners. Parcels that cannot be inspected or exceed the weight limit of 7 kg will not be received.
