What kind of support does the Support and Cooperation Network provide?
To ensure support to citizens across Croatia, the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration also finances the activities of a partnership network of civil society organisations which provide support and assistance to victims and witnesses in the counties where there are no court departments for victim and witness support. It is the Network of Support and Cooperation for Victims and Witnesses of Criminal Offences" (http://mrezapodrskeisuradnje.com/).
The programme of the Network lasts three years, from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2020. They provide victims and witnesses with information on their rights, emotional, psychosocial and legal counseling, and provide accompaniment to the competent courts and other relevant institutions in counties where victim and witness support departments have not been established.
