Questioning a child or underage witness

If a child injured by a criminal offence is questioned as a witness, this should be done with the assistance of a psychologist, pedagogy expert or other professional. The judge and parties should not be present in the same room with the child during the questioning, and parties can ask the child questions via the judge, psychologist, pedagogy expert or other professional.

If a minor is summoned to the main hearing as a witness or an injured party, they will leave the courtroom as soon as their presence if no longer necessary.
