Roma Mentor training completed

Within the framework of the project "Strengthening human rights protection and public safety by improving capacities of the Croatian probation service" funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, on 7 October 2021 six members of the Roma national minority concluded their training as ROMA MENTORS.

A 19-month work contract has been signed with the mentors, and they have received certificates for their participation in the training, as well as official mobile phones on which they can be reached.

The role and task of Roma mentors is to motivate members of the Roma national minority to fulfill their obligations during the execution of probation measures and sanctions, and to assist and support them in cooperating with providers of other professional services.
